We did make a boat purchase this summer. We've talked about it over the past few years and we finally took the plunge! So far we are really enjoying it! I finally remembered to take the camera so we could take a picture of the boat! So here it is and a few pictures of the kids tubing with some friends!
Allen and I went to Massanutten to celebrate our 15th anniversary. The mountains were beautiful and we enjoyed a 6 mile hike across the mountain. Luckily, we did not run into any black bears, just lizards!
Thanks to Mike and Kim for a fabulous vacation in Tennessee! We went up in the Sunsphere in Knoxville, went to the Knoxville Zoo, Dollywood, and went tubing down a river! Kim also fed us very well and the kids enjoyed playing with Madison and Hunter. Makenzie even liked Cheerio when we left! Thanks Mike and Kim again for a wonderful time!
We celebrated with Logan and Faith for their birhtdays. I think the kids had a good time. Logan had Zak playing with him which was probably the best gift for Logan. He had Zak running after everything and Zak was a good sport about it. Memaw made the birthday cakes. A truck and a duck! Yum! Has Memaw started a new tradition for birthdays???!!!
